Hey there, I'm Anna.
A potter, teacher, photographer, & graphic designer based out of Greenville, South Carolina. Although I created Kindred in 2021 under a different name- its roots began long ago. I've always loved creating.
My journey just before being introduced to the pottery world was one of sickness & learning. I began developing my interest, diving into the craft, and found that in some ways, it was like medicine to me.
After working for multiple years in clay trying to narrow my focus & learn the “why” behind my work, I realized inspiration lies within my roots: blue rolling hills, verdant forests, and the peculiar little creatures found in nature. The freedom, whimsy, and healing that comes from paying attention to the little things.
Hobby turned passion, Kindred was born. My aim through Kindred is to create whimsical, heirloom ceramic goods that inspire connection & joy in the every day.
